I rented Rock Band from Gamefly unaware that I would get it before I bought it, I was hoping it would be backed up until I got it for Christmas then I could take it off my queue. Anyways, since I don't have any Rock Band OFFICIAL instruments and I can use my guitar from GH2, I was wondering if I could use the headset that came with my Xbox to use as the microphone?

Yes, the mic that comes with the xbox works with Rock Band. It's crappy, and you won't get high scores. But it works.

Also, any USB mic will work just as well.
