I grew up listening to Genesis. I'd definitely like them added.

The problem is for example that Land of Confusion would not fit well with the game play of Rock Band. It would work for vocals, guitar, and drums. But what is the bass player suposed to do, there is no bass part, this area of the song is all electronic, done with a keybord. As much as I would like Genesis I think that will be a problem with alot of their songs.

Two Genesis songs that could work are Invesible Touch although most of the melody is carried by the keyboard again all parts are present. Another one that would actually work very well is No son of Mine, all the parts are present here, I think this song would work really well.

Sorry Speedy, but you mentioned two of the worst Genesis songs ever created. If they put out a Genesis DLC and these two songs were in it, I'd throw the drum pads and guitar out the friggin' window!!
That said, I'd love to see some great Genesis tracks as a DLC. They are one of my top three bands of all time along with Rush and Yes. One guy in another thread mentioned Lamb Lies Down on Broadway as a full album DLC. Now that would get me wet in the pants!! Realistically, I doubt we'd ever see that. I think that songs like Turn it on Again, Abacab, Mama and the like may have a chance. I'd personally take any Genesis from the '70's, earlier the better. How about Eleventh Earl of Mar or Dance on a Volcano? :D How nice would that be????

What are you talking about? They are THE progressive rockband until Peter left the band and then they slowly degenerated into Pop Rock Crap. Phil's voice is ****. His lyrics are pathetic and unimaginative, but he is one of the best (and most under appreciated) rock drummers EVER!
So, cut out phil's vocal cords out and stick him back behind the kit were he belongs and get the fantastic and amazingly lyrical Peter Gabriel and you have one of the best progressive rock bands of all time. They make pink floyd their ****hes...
End of musical history lesson...

Could always do Disturbed's version of it, but then it wouldn't be Genesis.
