If I remember correctly the end of it was in the opening trailer. That seems like a confirm to me seeing how it was audio.

Well HMX could be tricksy 'n' false and played that snippet to make us THINK it will be there but, I sorta agree that it'll be on the disk. T & S was just too much a signature type song for the early Beatles to be left out...IMO.

It's the first song with the signature Whoooooo's in it. It has to be in the game!

Might be hell on vocals, but great fun !
Welcome to the wonderful world of Rock Band Larry, glad I'm not the only 'oldie' on here (39) ;)

I'm pretty sure it'll be in. It's a blast of a song.

If it's not, I'm sure it will be dlc. Alien Ant Farm did a Michael Jackson song, and that got released on Rock Band so I don't think it not being an original composition will affect anything.

It better be on. I have a feeling that the disc will be more of a greatest hits Beatles thing, and the lesser known will be DLC.

Yes - I believe that it very well may be in the game. That, of course, means that it may not be in the game as well.

It better be on. I have a feeling that the disc will be more of a greatest hits Beatles thing, and the lesser known will be DLC.I remember reading that this will not be the case. I think it was in the pre-order club interview that was recently put up. The disc, and all DLC, will be a mash-up.
Edit: Oh, and for God's sake, TaS BETTER be in the game, either on disc or as DLC. I don't believe that whoever wrote the songs will have anything to do with their presence.

'Twist and Shout' might not be so great. The vocals would be great for harmonizing, but the insturments would be far to slow for the hardcore crowd.
Vox being my fav, it sounds odd to complain but, I'm sypathetic to my mates on that front.

well if its in the game its early in the beatles career so im guessing they would start off with easier songs

If it were a Beatles original, I would have no hesitation in saying it would be in game. The fact that it is a cover may complicate things, both from a licensing point-of-view (the current owners may not want to play ball) and from a 'narrative' perspective (HMX may want to keep the disc for Beatles originals). Having said that, though, on the balance of probabilities Twist And Shout would have to be the most likely cover to be included.

I would be very surprised if Twist and Shout was not in the game.

DLC is more likely.

I hope to hell it's in there because I can actually nail that on vocals doing the Lennon/scream thing and I just want to show off AS I play.

Well, it was played in the opening cinematic, but I'm not letting myself get too confident.

Since this game is most decidedly not for the hardcore crowd, I doubt that's a consideration.
I've posted this before, but it bears repeating: Twist and Shout is the most iconic Beatles song of the MTV generation. Between Ferris Bueller's Day Off and the fact that it was the only Beatles song of note that MTV ever played (they used the animated series clips for the video), there'd be a lot of disappointed Gen X-ers if it's not in the game. Granted, that's not a huge segment, but it exists.
