I have a quick question on how to sign in properly on the 360 when playing world tour so I still will get all my achievements on my profile. I want to be able to control the game with the regular controller and then just have everyone switch off on the instruments and I don't want the other people to have to create profiles. Can I use the controller or do I gotta give it up?

The 360 constantly confuses me with this, but it prob is just me.

If you create all the characters under your profile, then you should be able to switch with no problem. Only the singer uses the regular controller, but during song picking, etc all controllers control the action so it shouldn't be a problem whatever instrument you are on. (Or you can use the standard controller on behalf of whoever is singing—they can just hold the mic.)

It really only gets complicated if you have more than one profile signed in. If all the other controllers aren't signed in, then they will get the pick of the single signed-in person's characters. (If that makes sense.)

To ensure you're using your profile's audio and calibration settings, always use the controller signed in as your profile to choose Multiplayer->Band World Tour. (We had a problem with Dolby Digital not being enabled when we used the wrong profile to start the tour.)

What he said. If I want to make sure an instrument is signed in and I have more than one profile hangin' around, I usually hit "SOLO" then "SOLO TOUR." It lets you sign into any profile you have available without having to sign out of one first. Okay, I realize that hitting guide+x+a isn't strenuous or anything but still, it saves what... like 4? 5?! button presses!?!?
