360 DLC - Memory Card instead of Hard Drive?

I'm getting a 360 Arcade and Rock Band for Christmas. As you probably know, the Arcade comes with a 64 MB memory card instead of a hard drive. Is it possible to download songs to the memory card? If so, what's the average size of a song?

I'm going to get a hard drive eventually, but I'd really like to download 'Joker and the Thief' and The Police pack on Christmas Day.

Last I checked, one song is about 40M. Add to that your profile, settings, and some other stuff and you might have just enough room for one...or not.

Oh wait, I was mistaken. It comes with a 256 MB memory card.

Now I guess my only other question is this: does it allow you to download it to a memory card, or is it hard drive only?
