Does anyone have a direct number to bypass all of the immigrants that seem to answer the phone from india...im sorry but i just can't understand what the hell they are saying. If you can't speak something close to english then don't answer the phone..........

You should be directing your nastiness at EA (and about a million other US companies) for hiring people to answer phones who don't necessarily speak english well. It's not these people's fault that they want to make a living and can get a job answering phones.

Hey buddy..its not my fault that they can't find work in their own country....i could care less..all i want is to be able to speak with someone that i can understand. and the last time i looked this forum is hosted by EA Games and i feel this is the right place to voice my opinion. PERIOD

if you are trying to do a replacement of an instrument under the warranty then just do it online... much quicker and easier

you know i had a question and i searched for the answer on the forums here and couldn't find the answer so i thought i would give them a call, but i had no luck...i am not prejudice but i just think if you are answering the phones for a united states tech support line you should be able to speak clear english.

Wrong, your call is actually being routed to India. They're not immigrants, they live there - and they do find work in their own country.

As was said up-thread, if you're not happy about it, complain to the US company that contracts them, EA in this case.

And if you're really serious about complaining, take it elsewhere, because posting about this here is like pissing in the wind.

funny story...

there's this little kid that was pissing into the wind behind my house over the summer... it was like he was testing it out (was quite funny since he was aiming it up towards the sky...ID10T, of course i'm sure a lot of us have eaten dirt in our lives). at that point i was thinking about people bickering online about outsourced call centers.

Sorry to say it man, but most call centers, at least Tier 1 support, are outsourced to India / Singapore. There's honestly nothing you are going to be able to do about that. Most big companies do this to save money, and you will have to put up with script reading guys that either don't speak english every well or can't honestly help you with your problem.

If you can't deal, just ask to be transfered to a Tier 2, or Level 2 support for your issue. That's basically the only thing you can do, and hope that Tier 2 support is not in the same country.

It wouldn't be bad if they didn't act like idiot robots. You ask them a question and they have to look it up in a book to tell you some canned anwser. It is honestly like typing something into a computer, they have no common sense. Its not even the accent or language, they just stick to the script and that is it.

I never once out of my 15+ calls during the time I was waiting for my guitar. speaked to anyone but Americans. To the OP you sound like a true blooded member of the KKK. If you are having problems understanding someone, you must be calling at what 1 or 2 in the morning, if you call during the normal working hours, you should get someone that is easy to understand.
