Yes, I've had this question for a while too. What is DLC?

DLC stands for downloadable content. In the case of rock band they are songs you buy al la carte though the in game music store. You can put these songs on your SD card or Wii internal memory. I'll probably be ninja'd

We are all but minuscule beings on this earth, we shall never know what the answers to these great questions are. All we can do is hope that a greater being swoops down from the so called "heavens" and grants us the unrealistic pleasure of telling us the answers to the questions that plauge out everyday lives'.

DLC originally meant Drawn-Limb Cutting, a medieval punishment where a condemned prisoner's limbs would be pulled by 2-4 horses (Drawn Limbs) before the prisoner's limbs are dismembered (Cutting) which finally ends with beheading.

That's the best stupid flim-flam in describing DLC that I could come up with. Wonder if anybody else has an even more absurd explanation.
