Rock Band network on Rock Band 1

Every time I hear about the new RBN I hear only Rock Band 2. Will the patch apply for Rock Band 1?

DLC is supposed to work for both games so I don't see why not.

The DLC will Prob Work w/ RB1, But The RBN Store Will Prob Just Be on RB2. I'm Not Sure Though.

They mentioned having to update software to Rock Band version 2.2, so I would guess that would mean it's an RB 2 only feature, at least to start (and probably to stay since focus will shift forward to RB 3 sometime next year, I'd imagine).

RBN songs are not backwards compatible. They are not playable in RB1.

Shocked people still haven't upgraded to rb2. Even if don't like the setlist its a great organizer for dlc

RB2 is like RB1 but with everything improved in every way. Doesn't mean it doesn't have its bugs and quibbles, but you really won't look back once you've gotten it.

That is, unless you have unfinished business on the first game like getting achievements or FCing the three songs that don't transfer.

Might as well spring for a new copy so you can get the 20 free songs. They're about on par with what you can expect from RBN. I hope Shaimus gets involved, Like a Fool was awesome.
