I can understand why Europeans, Australians (Basically non-Americans) wouldn't be able to publish our own songs on the network but do you think we will at least be able to PURCHASE the rock band network songs? If not do you think it will ever be available to purchase for non-Americans?

From the sticky in this forum:

"RBN songs will be available for sale in North America (inc Canada) and Europe."

Damn, I was hoping for some Karnivool, Dead Letter Circus, and COG.
I will now go sulk in the corner.

I'm sure they could still manage if they get a representative in the country to deal with the specifics for them.

Australia will never be part of Europe, so long as I live!!
We may all be the descendants of drunken Irish convicts, but we're more closely related to Asia now than we are Europe.

I hear that Europeans CAN get their songs published as long as they got someone in US to do it for them.

I knew it! Oceania is nothing more than a part of Europe.

lolbacca I wasn't really trying to suggest we're a part of Europe in any way, I'm really just hoping we get to buy songs from the RBN....I mean do we really have to beg and wish to spend money? I know the RB franchise isn't as strong here but the Beatles Rock Band and Lego Rock Band coming out earlier than a year out of date must mean they haven't completely ruled us out of the market.......

I'm not sure how many European bands would have that capacity but that is interesting

"North America (inc Canada)"

It's nice that they're using the little-known definition of North America that includes Canada.

The person that was asking the question at the time was Canadian so that bit in the response was specific to him.
