The new video shows it being played on The Ed Sullivan Show but I looked it up and they never played it there.

Seems to me that it would be better if they played that in The Cavern and had Twist and Shout on Ed Sullivan Show.

They're going more for chronological accuracy than historical accuracy with the venues.

Like how Taxman was ever played live.

They are forsaking 10,000% historical accuracy in favour of making a more enjoyable video game.

I'm hoping you'll be able to choose live venues for the touring years songs. The earlier songs should at least be playable in the later venues. I wanted to play "Twist and Shout" at Ed Sullivan.

They didn't play the Cavern after Can't Buy Me Love had been written. They played it at Shea though.

I hope so, too. I was actually a little weirded out when I saw Twist And Shout being played in The Cavern Club because I associate that song so strongly with Shea Stadium.

I can understand having a strict division between touring and non-touring songs, but I hope there is some leeway within the touring era (being able to play earlier songs in later venues, but not vice-versa etc).

It could also be that they're trying to even out the songs across the venues.

It would rather suck if there were 10 songs in one venue, but only 3 songs in another, etc.

I was wondering about that actually. Cuz the Rooftop Concert only had them play like 5 songs. Where as they played around 14 songs on Ed Sullivan and launched 4 songs through videos on that show.

Though let's be honest does Harmonix care that much about equalizing venues? They pretty much are giving half of these songs their own venues and if you look at RB1 and RB2 there were hundreds.

maybe on certain songs you can choose the venue
like if you were to select "I Feel Fine" you could choose to play at Budokan or Shea Stadium
