rb1 and 2 songs exportability?

does anyone know if on tb:rb i will be able to get all(or most) of the rb1/2 songs like u can on rb2 with rb1

No. There will be no exportability either into or from The Beatles RB for technical reasons. Conceivably you'll be able to import from TB:RB into RB3 (when it comes), but there's no guarantee of that.

I didn't think it was technical. I always thought that it was because Apple Corps. wanted the Beatles songs to be separate from the main Rock Band game. That makes a lot more sense to me.

Welcome to the forums! Regrettably, the answer to your first post is a big fat 'no.' I agree with DookieMan that it's more of a licensing problem than it is an engine problem.

No it wont be, and vice-versa.

I think its because I don't think The Beatles would want their characters screaming Blinded By Fear or the Mayhem Pack.

And The Beatles Rock Band is a new game, so I don't think HMX would want to go backwards with the games.

Yeah, they are kinda separate games, that's why it's called The Beatles: Rock Band. It is a Beatles game, but just using the Rock Band name.

The best you can do is cross your fingers and hope everything will be exportable to Rock Band 3. Until then, I'm sure we can all handle switching out our RB2 discs with our Beatles:RB discs.
