I am hoping to put some music onto the Rock Band network, but I really want to know what the genres are, specifically a Psychedelic genre.

From what I know there are preset genres that you can't derive from.

If you look on the list on the video on creators.rockband.com, one of the genres is psychedelic.

Cool thanks, My music is a strange mix of all those genres, but I think Folk and Psychedelic are the closest to what my music sounds like.

Wrong. As you can see in this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hulseeC2-0s), starting from "Arena" and going all the way down, all the genres you listed are sub-genres of the "Rock" genre. So industrial is a possibility.

correct. there is going to be tons of genres.

From this, we can assume that everything above Arena are the genres already programmed into Rock Band 2.

wrong

blues and funk are already in the game, butt they're below arena
