I can't vouch for everyone but I know there has to be at least one song out there that makes most people cry when they hear it.
For me it's "Death is the road to awe" by Clint Mansell off of soundtrack of the movie, "The Fountain" and sadly I have a second which is "Dead Boy's Poem" by Nightwish. It's teh tragic stuff that gets me.

This.
There's song that make me sad, but nothing to the point where I cry, no less like a *****.
I think you're alone on this one.

Can't say a song's ever made me cry, a few I'll admit I've found rather depressing though. One being Sufjan Stevens - Casimir Pulaski Day, and another is Nine Inch Nails - Something I Can Never Have.

There hasn't been a song that has made me cry yet, but there is a lot of songs that make me refect on my life and the parts that sucked.

I've heard Casimir Pulaski Day, I don't know how many times (maybe 30?), and I've never really paid close attention to the lyrics until today. Certainly is a sad song, but a great one.
And I have the entire KCRW session on mp3, didn't know there was video too!

The Johnny Cash Hurt video is depressing, but music has never made me cry.
Hurt by Johnny Cash makes me depressed, but only because the video reminds me that he spent his last years in a wheel chair. I always liked his work, but after his death, my great grandmother showed me an invitation to his funeral that was sent to her. Apparently they were related in some way shape or form, so now it is kinda like watching a distant family member, so a new perspective was added to his work for me.

I don't listen to the words, so it's not the song itself that gets me. If you put a teary video with it, that gets me. The only one that's ever done it to me is Travis Tritt's Tell Me I Was Dreaming [1995]. Back in my country days =P
I don't know how to embed videos (help?) So here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WZJ4IWqwoKs

I'm pretty sure EVERY Radiohead song gives a strong sense of melancholy, regardless of the subject matter...in fact, Creep is probably one of the least melancholy of all of their songs in my opinion.

ROFL, nothing like a 70 year old man being emo
Nothing like one of the oldest, most inspirational voices in rock & roll digging the new stuff enough to take it and make it his own.
I think that's what you meant to say.

I've never cried because of a song.

Honestly, if you have never cried because of a song, a memory tied to a song, or at least got a lump in your throat, your an even bigger b|tch than those that admit they have. You're just some pseudo-machismo, I'm too tough for words bullsh!tter who has too much ego or a self esteem problem.
It also means you have no heart and are clueless to the power of a well written, well performed song. You fail at life.
As a 35 year old father of three, currently serving my 17th year in the Army, I can proudly say that there have been a few songs that have brought me to tears, either by the content of the song, or the ties it has to friends and loved ones that have lost their lives in service to this great country.
BTW, if you have ever listened to Red Sovine's "Teddy Bear" and it didn't have any effect on you...check your pulse.

"Bodysnatchers" is kinda upbeat... But overall, Radiohead sucks.
On topic, I think I've cried from awesomeness in nearly every Rock Band song (while playing with awesome friends of course).

"Photograph" by Nickelback makes me cry. Not because I connect with it. It's because it is terrible.
In all seriousness, there has been 2 songs that have made me cry. "Don't Take the Girl" by Tim Mcgraw and "Goodbye Young Tutor, You've Now Outgrown Me" by Say Anything.

"Leaving Hope" by Nine Inch Nails is one of the saddest piano sessions by Trent Reznor ever! This song makes me crack because it makes me think of either my grandmother or all of the dumb sh*t I regret doing in my past.

Well, I'll respond seriously (because so many others feel the need to be sarcastic about things)
"November Rain" by Guns N Roses tends to send me into a depressive spin
"Imagine" by John Lennon does tend to choke me up occassionally because it just serves to remind me that John is dead
"Old Red Wine" by The Who, their tribute to John Entwistle because again, it just serves to remind me that he's gone (He died on the eve of the tour I was to see The Who on!)
"Under A Raging Moon" by Roger Daltrey, an upbeat song, but a sad reminder that Keith Moon is gone
That's enough for you lot.

When I hear it I think, "Wow, he just pulled out a shotgun, shot Rap/Hip-Hop in the face, and then had sex with its dead corpse.

I agree with the poster a few messages above me. If no song has ever moved you, you either aren't much of a music fan (which is perfectly legitimate - but why would you be spending time on the RB forum? ;) ) or you don't have a soul/heart/pulse.
"Kid" by The Pretenders (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EYhqjjUuhfI): This song always chokes me up for two reasons. One, because of Chrissie's amazing voice, and two, because it always reminds me of their guitarist, James Honeyman-Scott, who died of a drug overdose right after their second album came out. His guitar lines and soloes never lacked in emotional whallop and pure power.
"Enola ***" by OMD (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=01SBf0tsLyI): This song is about the dropping of the bomb on Hiroshima. I don't think I really need to clarify any further.
"The Man Who Sold The World" by Nirvana (or anything else on their Unplugged album, for that matter): Nirvana's Unplugged always reminds of Kurt Cobain's death. I really can't explain how this song and most of the others make me feel.
"Beautiful World" by Devo (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3MxuDk7wqo): This song encapsulates everything I've ever wanted to say, but I never quite knew how to phrase my sentiments. Thank you, Devo.
"What a Wonderful World" by Joey Ramone (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TNr2DoB5Qwo): Joey's voice is beautiful in this cover of the Louis Armstrong original. Also a painful reminder that Joey recently passed away a short while ago.

Go Rest High On That Mountain by Vince Gill gets me too, played at my grandmothers funeral.
Freebird is another song that gets to me. It is good though because it hits all the emotions. Its so sad and then it hits the guitar solos and jamming and you cant help but smile. Any nascar fan that has heard the Dale Earnhardt tribute over the song will probably choke up a little too rather you were a fan of his or not.

One that doesn't fail to choke me up and make my eyes swell is "Parisienne Walkways" by Thin Lizzy featuring Gary Moore on lead guitar. It isn't the lyrics that get me; the music does it every time.

Do Re Mi off the Nirvana box set always makes me feel depressed...
Moonlight Sonata is by far the most sad song i've ever heard though. That song crushes, especially knowing why beethoven wrote it.
