I have just started watching The Office at the beginning of the summer, and I love it so much i have now seen every season.
I was wondering, after watching all the seasons of this epic show, Which one do people prefer the most?
If I don't have the poll up. just leave a text comment, and feel free to explain why you like season, or why you don't like some of the others.

They all fail.
You have a terrible taste in music AND Tv shows. Wow, you've out-done yourself!
Season five is the best. The first two seasons, Michael Scott is just an unbearable douche. The other seasons after are nice for character development, but season 5 is the result of said development and it really pays off (quite hilariously). And Charles Miner is a brilliant character because he shows how truly asinine and ridiculous the characters would really be in a real-life setting.
Oh, and Dwight is awesome. He is Soundwave at a desk job.

Not my favorite TV show either. It doesn't fail, it's just not a show I bother going out of my way to watch.

I would have to go with season 2. By this season, the show has found its' own footing and kind of established itself as a different entity from the Ricky Gervais series.
My favorite overall episode would still have to be "Diversity Day" from Season 1, though. And overall, I still prefer the Ricky Gervais series to the American remake.

I'm not a big fan of the Office. Usually, if the situation involves Creed, Kevin or Dwight, I'll get a laugh, but all the Pam & Jim stuff just makes me noxious. The later happens far too often in my opinion.

i think that season 5 was pretty weak, it did have the most episodes of any season, but not much happened in it

i like season 2 & 3 equally
i like the British version, but i don't love it, some of the humor isn't quite funny and at sometimes it bores me.

i LOVE the Jim & Pam stuff, that's my favorite part of the show! also it would help that i am madly in LOVE with Pam Beesly/Jenna Fischer ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
The Office is the BEST SHOW ON TV right now, i mean i am in love with the show itself

Season 2 and 3 are pretty close. However I'd say 2 was my favorite. "Basketball" is still the greatest episode EVER though.

IMO "Casino Night" is the best episode. Flawless blending of comedy and drama.

My vote goes to season 2. It had most of the best episodes of the series including my all-time favorite, The Dundies.

I love all the seasons but 2 and 3 were the best. I'm also in love with Pam and have a man crush on Jim (I wish he was my brother).
Season 3 had my favorite intro when Jim sends a fax to Dwight, from himself, from the future.

The only thing about Season 5 for me was that I really didn't like Charles Minor. Also, I have a Dunder Mifflin branch in my hometown of Nashua, NH. Represent!

As someone who works in a cubicle, I didn't find The Office funny the one episode I watched. I watched it on a plane and this guy who was marrying the secretary lady found out that she was cheating on him with this other guy in the office. He then ran his car into the guy during their "duel" in the parking lot. It was weird.

That episode probably did seem weird out of context hahaha. There's lots of backstory to it which makes the situation even more hilarious. Duel is one of my favorite episodes of season five. Stress Relief is my absolute favorite. Michael screaming "EVERYBODY CALM THE **** DOWN" left me in stitches.

and I'm pretty sure the Christmas Party (season 2, I think) is one of the best.

most of the best episodes are in season three.
two of my favs are when jim takes andrews phone (which he made a new personalized ring for) and hid it in the ceiling. then proceeded to keep calling it.
or the episode( i believe it was one of the xmas episodes) where they jim and pam email/txt msg dwight saying they are from the fbi and they need him for a secret mission sending him to the roof waiting for a helicopter.

i'm surprised that season 4 only has one vote. it's my 2nd fave.

well season 4 was good because Pam & Jim were together, it had a few great episodes including 5 hour-longs, but, it had only 14 episodes total because of the writer strike. who knows where the show would be right now if it wasn't for the strike. the writers of the show once said that they were gonna take the show in different direction but they had to make something "big" happen in the finale which made the season seem rushed. :)
i would rank them:
2
3
5
4
1 (because it has the fewest episodes)

Season 2 for sure here. Season 1 was good, but too short for a vote, season 3 was good as well, but season 2 has the most memorable and rewatchable episodes for me. Plus everything was simple storywise back then, all you had to do was tune in and laugh.

They really rushed the Jim and Pam thing. The tension between them was one of the things that made the show great. Now that they're engaged, I feel like a major part of the show is missing.

yeah i pretty much agree with that, also on a different forum, someone had said that if they made a new problem with JAM and make them go through complications of them NOT being able to get pregnant it would give the show another layer of a story, but since they rushed them into getting engaged and rushed them into having a baby.... i hope they think of something to do to still make JAM interesting (as if i need another reason to pay attention to/stare at/obsess about/stalk Jenna Fischer :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: )

Season 2 and then season 3.
Dwight and the Nard-dog are my favorite characters.
I don't really have a favorite episode off the top of my head, but one of my favorite scenes is from "Email Surveillance" when Michael is at improv class and does his "FBI Agent Michael Scarn" routine.
If you have Netflix and have not seen this show, seasons 1-4 are available for instant streaming.

Well, I started watching "The Office" on Netflix when I had it. I only got to the episode where Michael tries to play Survivorman in the woods. Then I cancelled it.
Really a great show. Probably my favorite show that still airs new episodes. (Well, The Simpsons is airing new episodes, but I don't watch them.)

why would you cancel it!?!?!? do you not pay attention to the storylines? i bet you probably are just looking for a laugh, that is why you watch the simpsons. The Office is too sophisticated of humor for you.
