Does anyone know of a USB microphone that leans more towards a professional microphone?

I like the one that came with my bundle but I think there's got to be a better microphone on the market. Plus the fat short little RB one does not fit on my REAL microphone stand.

The Rock Band microphone did not obviously fit in my shure mic clamp (it's molded plastic for the size of the SM58), but you can get standard clamps that work for Rock Band. It has nothing to do with the fact that you have a REAL microphone stand, there are different sizes for microphones. Look for wireless mic clamps, those usually are a bit fatter.

Or just bring the microphone to a music store and get a universal rubber clamp that fits the microphone.

I'd really like to go with something that feels a little less like a toy and more like a real mic.

And, myself and others are having USB problems with the mic's. They go "wiggy" for lack of a better term, putting the arrow all wiggly across the note scroller.

I'd be happy with a USB headset, but I don't know of any that work with RB. It claims it'll take any USB but the USB headsets from Karaoke Revolution don't work. Anybody know of a candidate that is confirmed as working?

The Xbox 360 standard headsets work.

Yes, but they're very low quality and it's hard to do expert/hard runs accurately on them. What we need is a real USB headset microphone that works with Rock Band. I'm surprised that one from a previous HMX game doesn't work, frankly; you'd think that'd be the first thing they'd test.
