Hi i am new to these boards and i want to know if xbox 360 version of rock band is defective Like all the other consoles., And please check out the viewer poll too !

Yes, I have the Xbox 360 version and my drum kit is defective along with my foot pedal and guitar. The drum kit: red and green pads do not register every hit. Sometimes blue doesn't register. Foot pedal: snapped in between the spring and the metal bar. I used 3 butterknives and duct tape to fix. Works great. Guitar: strum bar doesn't strum all the time. When down-picking, it doesn't snap back into place to make another strum. You HAVE to go up-stroke, down-stroke, up-stroke, down-stroke, and so-on...
That's my bundle. I sent out my drums and guitar, and just got my foot pedal. I still have to send my butterknife pedal back.
I know there are problems also with the PS3 version. I haven't heard much about the PS2 and defectives, but I wouldn't be suprised.

i'm going to have to say that both systems have their fair share of hardware problems. personally i have the ps3 version. i have fixed my guitar twice so far and it seems to be holding up now. however, i will probably send it in for a warranty guitar after christmas just to be safe. my drums and mic are doing great. i have talked to one guy that works at a local gamestop and he said his bass pedal broke with light playing only and he sent off for a new one. he has the 360 version. i think that was his only issue. so in summary i think the first batch of rock band bundles in general all share the same issues. i would go PS3 simply for the wireless guitar and i really think that they will fix the imcompatibility issue with the GH3 guitar.
