Mystery Setlists not so mysterious?

Didn't see any other threads about this so I'm curious if anyone else is having this problem or if there is a solution to it currently.

While playing in the band world tour mode, we've found that our mystery setlists and any other setlist containing "random song" as one of the songs always plays Weezer's "Say It Ain't So," followed by Nirvana's, "In Bloom." It seems that the randomizer isn't randomizing at all but rather is just picking the first song in the entire song list. This has become annoying as we've had to play those songs at least 10 times now in the first few hours of play.

Have you unlocked more songs via Solo Tour?
Are you on a PS3 or x360? I'm not sure if there is a trend of PS3's not being very random but I've seen discussion alluding to that.

It's the Xbox360 version. Haven't played Solo Tour at all yet since we had four people right from the start to do the band tour. We've unlocked plenty of songs in the Band mode though - when you make your own setlist we have probably 20-30 of the songs available in the list so far.

i had the same problem except i got the songs Blitzkrieg Bop and Should i stay or should i go.....its getting really annoying singing blitzkrieg bop after the 6th time in a row

It seems to be more or less random when my wife and I play, although our random songs are usually the following:

1. Song from Tier 2 or 3
2. Song from 2nd to last Tier
3. Song from last Tier

I've beaten the game on solo drums - medium and solo guitar-medium. It never gets old going into the 2nd song of a mystery setlist and you see Green Grass.

I have all the songs unlocked, and when I started a new band the very first random set list had Epic and Train Keep a Rollin'.

Somehow the problem has fixed itself - turned on the game today and the random setlists were actually working. Not sure why it was not randomizing before but is now.
