Faulty Guitar

Aside from the obvious (gutiar actually failing), is there any way to tell if you have one of the first ones released? By serial number or something? My guitar hasn't caused me any problems yet but I would like to know if it was produced before or after problems were made known.

check the bottom of th box that came wit it, anything after november is good

ie november-december=good!

muhahaha sep 25 havent had a problem with the drum set or mic, guitar crapped out, fixed it everything is good now.
