Well, most of the bands you mentioned (or similar ones) are already in Rockband or have been in Guitar Hero, so I think you will be fine with the original songlist of the game.
I would prefer more modern bands though. And more variety overall. Not the same bands in every GH/Rockband game.

Goo Goo Dolls is nice, I kinda would like "Here is gone". I know, it's not the hardest rock song, but it's so nice to sing!
