that's odd. mine takes 2-3 seconds. i've only gotten the metallica and black sabbath packs, though.

yea the more content you've got, the longer it takes to load...which is understandable...but I really hope they make this fast, since every time it checks your username or returns from a song it has to check the content AGAIN which takes pretty long.

I've got everything and it takes about 10 seconds. Apparently it has to connect to Live to see what songs you're allowed to access - so could it be a slowed internet connection? Do have your router set up properly to allow a forwarded port for the Xbox?

I use the PSN so on Thursday it will take 2-3 minutes to download a pack. But yesterday I went back to download "Little Sister" and it took 15 seconds to download and install. I guess with the PSN at least it just depends how many people are clogging up the servers.

And on a Tuesday afternoon I guess it wasn't that busy.

yeah, I use Verizon FiOS, and I had to set up everything manually, because the router is incompatable with the XBOX's wireless adapter, I have no problems with speed, most downloads take under 30 seconds, even the GTAIV trailer 3.
