need help please

i bought rb2 for ps3 and when ever i play it, it will let me play one song then i choose the next and start to play the instrument wont do any thing, and it appears to be connected. It does this with all of my instruments, and if i restart the ps3 it will do it again. Please help me if you can thanks

press and hold the ps3 button in on remote and re assign the controller to 1-4 and it wil be fine
