It's hard not to stop and listen respectfully when Admira Adama arrives with some big news. Edward James Olmos visited Attack of the Show earlier today to talk about Comic-Con 09 and directing Battlestar Galactica: The Plan, which follows the story of the Cylons parallel to the original BSG series.

More exciting was Olmos' announcement about his show's influence on the United Nations, which has officially changed its charter after meeting with the Battlestar Galactica stars over human rights last March. Per Olmos, the UN will no longer use the word "race" as a cultural determinant; instead, we will all be considered a part of one race: humans (unless you're a Cylon).

Watch Olmos excitedly announce this groundbreaking change to Kevin Pereira. So say we all!

Actually when I watched it. Yes.

He said that pretty much it's wrong to call certain people by a race. You know, blacks, asians, ect. We're all one single race. The Human race.

So with what he said, they changed it.

Just watch the video, it's actually interesting. And Kind of hard for me to explain.

You don't think it's good that the UN will no longer use the word race as a cultural determinant?

Well I am glad in your world no one uses skin color or religion in a negetive connotation.
