For me its a toss up between going through the whole Story Mode and playing through the whole Abbey Road medley (once Abbey Road comes out as DLC).

What are you looking forward to most when you finally get the game in your hands?

EDIT: My 69th post! ...number 9...number 9...number 9...

Could not have said it better myself.

I'm looking forward to the dreamscapes. That Abbey Road medley will be sweet also.

The whole experience. Getting the game, installing, loading it up for the first time. Navigating the menu's, deciding whether I want to play drums or (attempt to) sing first. load up the first part of the story mode and then I'll play play play.

The whole day will be a blur for me. I'm dead freaking serious.

When I wake up September 8th, I'm going to be bouncing off the walls. I'll be all giddy at work, not being able to sit in my seat for more than 5 minutes, constantly thinking about it, reading the site to look at the trailers a few last times, on here no doubt flipping out with the rest of you.

When I get off work at 5 I'm going home to sleep until about 11, and then I'll make my way over to Gamestop to pick everything up at midnight. I'll drive home with my eyes glued to the stuff in the seat next to me, taking enough time to look up at the road to make sure I actually make it home in one piece.

I'll get home and probably just sit there for like 10 minutes, in awe of what I have. I'll break open all the guitars, put the drumset together, and then take a picture of all of it to post on Facebook with the biggest grin on my face possible. And then I'll realize there is still a game to play!!

Most likely will start on story mode first, because I'm really anxious to see it. I will play through as many songs as I can that night before I fall over with sleep. And then I'll wake up in the morning and get to have that excitement all over again not only from playing the game, but then the remastered stereo CD's and mono box sets are next!!

9/9/09 is a day I have been waiting years for. It will NOT disappoint. Not humanly possible.

^^^ i agree. just to go and purchase it, bring that huge bundle home with me, opening it and put the hofner together first and then everything else. pop it in and i think i might do a quick song or two in quick play which might be sgt.peppers/with a little help from my friends. i will try not to do it but i will probably not resist and then do the story mode. the wait is just killing me.

Just the fact that I'll be singing actual Beatles songs in RB. I've been dying to sing these. I don't think I'll be able to wipe the smile off my face the first time I sing "Can't Buy Me Love" or "Eight Days A Week".

As with the posters above me, I'm looking forward to the whole experience: going to the store at 9am to pick it up, carting that huge box back to my car, making the (mercifully) short drive home giddy as a school girl, lugging the box up stairs, unpacking it, setting up everything and then just playing the hell out of it. I'm going to have to make sure to soak it all in, because I don't think I will be looking forward to a video game more than this again.
