If I got new PS3, bye bye DLC?

Hey everyone, I just bought a refurbished 60gb PS3 and just starting to get used to it. Long story short, I returned one because it was defective and returned it for a better one which got me wondering: If I started buying DLC now and in the unfortunate event I had to exchange it again, does that mean I can't get the DLC I previously bought? Or would I still be able to get it back because I have my PSN account?

My guess as of now is... no, I can't download them again. =(

You can redownload what you've bought on up to 5 ps3s.

Good news:

You can download them again because they are on your PSN account. Even if you start buying songs on a new account ( it'd just be a waste of time to make a new account, though) you can still put them on your new PS3.

Like the others said, you'd have to sign in with your previous account and just go to the RB Music Store and redownload all the songs you've purchased. It takes awhile pending on how many songs you've downloaded.

I had to do this last sunday.

You can keep the dlc always. Once on your new ps3 sign in on your own account on it and go to ps store then view downloads then just re-download it all again, 20 free songs there too. The tour mode will be lost though so you will need to unlock songs again.

This is kind of off-topic, but is the RB2 20 Free Songs pack limited to the 5 downloads like the paid DLC is, or can you re-download that one as many times as you need?

You can only download it once, like everything else. However, since their on your downloaded list on the PSN, you can redownload anything up to 5 times.

thats weird. because what prevents me from giving my DLC downloads to friends? wouldnt I just be able to login to my PSN account on their DLC and give them the DLCs I paid for?

Technically that's true, but the discussion of sharing DLC like that is discouraged on the forums here :)

Technically, yes. Although, you're not supposed to discuss that here.
