Title says it already and i mean the PS2-version! I know the US-Version has progressive scan support, but since I'm from Germany I'd rather not import another game if the PAL-version is of equal quality. So I was wondering does the PAL-Version also have 60HZ + the progressive scan support? I can't find any information on that anywhere online!

High Definition Details

The folks here at Xbox® have taken a bold step by declaring that all games that appear on the Xbox 360™ video game system will support high-definition resolutions up to 720 progressive scan and 1080 interlace. It's important to note the difference between this policy and that of the original Xbox® console. With games on the original Xbox, developers had the option to support HD graphics, but Xbox 360 demands that all games feature high-definition options. To clear up some confusion, here are a few key points to bear in mind regarding high-definition support on Xbox 360.

I found this on the Xbox 360 support section. Link Here (http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/x/xbox360prosystem/highdefdetails.htm)
This might be helpful, it may not. I dunno.
Im guessing it does support it, as the Pal version is the same game, just with different region coding. I don't use a HDTV, so I cant be any more help than that Im afraid

@DrifterUK: already did, but sadly no. even for rock band 1 it says "??" for the pal-version and rock band 2 isn't even included yet! But still thanks!

Edit: Don't we have anyone from maybe the UK here who is on ps2 and could comment on that? As I said, I know the US-version DOES have progressive scan, but history tells us that - for whatever unknown reason - this gets canned in most cases (see god of war, burnout dominator, gran turismo 4, etc.)

Yes the PAL version does have an option to switch on Progressive Scan. However there's something screwy with it. PS2s always do progressive as 480p, even in PAL (normally would expect 576p in PAL!). Now this all was fine in RB1, but when you do it in RB2 the bottom (and top?) bit of the screen is missing. It almost looks like the screen is still being rendered as 576 lines like when you're in 576i mode but then lines are being chopped off when output as 480p. I can't get it to work and I'm yet to find any info online about it. It's hard to believe such a basic stuff-up would be in a product of this quality ... but I can't think of any other explanation!
