Earlier Ringo Songs

I Wanna Be Your Man is a great Ringo song early on in the beginning of the Beatles career but what other early Ringo songs would be awesome in TB:RB? Pesonally, I think Act Naturally would be great!

Also I don't think Ringo actually wrote any of those songs just sang them but I still consider them Ringo songs.

I Act Naturally is pretty good, that's for sure, but his best piece is, according to me, Don't Pass Me By, while, if we count even the lyrics just sung by him, I'd go with "With A Little Help From My Friends".

He only began writing songs quite late in The Beatles career: I believe the first song that he wrote was Don't Pass Me By off The White Album. He wrote and co-wrote a few other songs as well, but you are right in saying that all his early songs were either covers (Act Naturally, Boys etc.) or Lennon/McCartney hand-me-downs (I Wanna Be Your Man, Yellow Submarine etc.)

I wouldn't mind seeing a few other early Ringo songs, Act Naturally and Boys in particular.

I don't care for Boys much (lol), but anyway, I wouldn't cuss if it ended up on the game. Act Naturally would be good though. What Goes On wouldn't be too bad either since it has great harmonies, but that's not that early Beatles.

What Goes On would be awesome to play and sing. Underrated song, like Act Naturally (well, it's not a Beatles song, but you know what I mean).

My favourite part about What Goes On is the guitar. No idea how they'd chart it. Very sloppy, with a very cool sound.

Ringo's vocal on Boys is genuinely good... not just 'Ringo good'. I'd like to see it make it as DLC, though it looks unlikely for the disc, being a cover and all. Act Naturally is also a cover, BTW (A Buck Owens song, I think?). And Honey, Don't is a Carl Perkins song. So I can see why, of all the earlier Ringo stuff, I Wanna Be Your Man was included on disc... it's the only one they actually wrote.

I agree with this 100%. While Ringo has better songs (chiefly, With A Little Help From My Friends), that is the one song where, I think, he sings legitimately well.

Honey Don't would be awesome. It's their second best cover song IMO (first being Twist and Shout). I would be so happy if it's in the game but I'm not expecting it.
