I've had my whammy bar break twice and I'm in the process of returning my second guitar. But I've figured out a way to not exactly fix the problem but make it so it will work until I could replace the guitar. It's simple, just put rubber bands on the whammy bar and string them to the nob thing on the end where you put the guitar strap on. Just be sure that that the guitar strap doesn't come off and send the guitar to the floor. It may not be the prettiest solution but it should fix it for the wait until a new guitar comes. I hope that can help anyone that might have the same problem that I have had.
