There are two different modes you can use: scrolling and static.

Scrolling runs the words past the a stationary cursor at a rate that matches the song. The cursor is placed far to the left so you can see ahead of where you are singing.

Static brings the words up a line at a time, and you sing them from left to right. The next line is also visible below the one you are singing.

I prefer scrolling, but many prefer the static mode.

I had no idea you could put scrolling on... O.o
That would make it so much easier to sight read. I don't know some of the songs and its hard to learn the words and keep pitch when your looking ahead of where you are. Or at least it is for me because I cant sing :)

i thought scrolling was the default, and you manually have to change it to static if you prefer that mode.
