Hey all i'm just trying to waste time till christmas. All you have to do is name some Life or Death Experiences.

OK heres mine. When I was younger there used to be a mining site in the woods. So me and my friends used to go there every day pushing rocks off the edge it. The drop down was about 75yd. to 100yd. down. But this one time we went up there we throwing rocks off the edge I slipped and grabbed on to the rock. My friends then pulled up after like a minute put it felt like forever. Me and my friends never went back.

last year in the winter my slut of a step mom had to go on the highway when it was slippery as hell so anyway i was in the back seat playing my PSP and next thing i know we are slipping all over the place on the highway and we almost went over the edge we were sooo close but luckily a big big big thick snow bank was there and it stopped us true story.

When I was a freshmen in HS, I broke my arm in football. I broke it so bad I had to go into surgey. During the recover process, my heart stopped and I also stopped breathing. Scary thing was, I was concious for it. I was in a groggy recovery funk when I started feeling weird and suddenly got the flat line signal from the heart monitor. I saw people rushing in before I passed out. The last thing I remember was hearing my mom yelling "Breath!" while she was assisting them (she is a Physical Therapist and certified to do such things). Weird thing was, it was like it was all in third person

There's a chemical reaction that causes that, actually. In times of great stress your brain releases a chemical that has hallucinogenic effects. This also causes synapses in your brain to create new pathways, which make you feel more "connected" in the sense that the euphoria combined with the new unrelated pathways make you feel like you see patterns in things that don't really have patterns (the same effect happens with mushrooms, actually). These two things combined tend to make you feel like you can "see" things you can't. Since the rest of your senses were associating with the hospital room, but your vision had failed, your brain created another way to experience it, and your brain "recognizes" it as if you were seeing it from another angle, since you obviously couldn't use your eyes in the normal way. It's pretty cool, actually.

For me, my crazy ex-wife one threw a fit and grabbed the steering wheel while I was driving and threw us into oncoming traffic. She also once tried to jump out of the car when we were going 35MPH.

Anyway life and death experiences hmm.... I've been in my fair amount of car crashes. Been to hospital on Christmas Day when i was really ill (that sucks arse) but hey nothing too much.

When I was 19 I was in in Pachuca Mexico, with some friends we where driving down the road through this really lush forest, and we stoped to take a leak, we where drinking btw and where totally hammered, well at least I was, so for some reason I decided to walk across the road into the forest to take a piss, it was pitch dark mind you, so I walk up this little hill or something, and I knew there was like a river or a stream cus I could hear water flowing, it was loud, so I keep going when suddenly I miss my step and start rolling down the other side of the hill and splash!! I hit the water! I must have dived in head first beacuse I couldn't tell which way was up or down, like I said it was dark, I was down there for quite a bit, finally I manage to find the surface but the current was draggin me over to God knows where, and I couldn't grab to any of the edges it was only weeds and mud, very slippery, long story short, I manage to pull my self out of there, but the current dragged me a good long ways, cus I walked at least 400 ydrs. to where the car was, my friends where all yelling my name calling me out, I don't actually know how long I was gone.....it was a close one!!.:o
