PS3 online play, please help

Every time I try to invite my friend to play with us, I get an error message saying "cannot connect to session."

Its so damn annoying. Any suggestions? I can use the "find players" but as soon as i try to invite a friend, it doesnt work.

Mhmm that happened to me today , might be his playing the same instrument as you or his or your connection is messed up try re-inviting him or just have him invite you.

yeah we did this, he invited us again, we invited him again, weve never been able to get this to actually work.

hes playing guitar, while im doing drums and my roommate is doing vocals, so its not an instrument overlap.

Maybe its just his connection :(
