Quick Question

Would a standard USB Extension work for extending the length of the cable on the drums? We've got some big plans and I'd like to not have my cable tripped on unplugging me during said big plans.

I'm hoping it works out. You see we're having a party with an actual band playing and one night came up with this great idea to memorize eight songs and open for the real band. Practices have been proving it's gonna be awesome. Everyone I've told about it is really stoked. We've taken it way bigger than we should though. Drum risers, confetti machines, t-shirts for sale.... the whole nine yards.

It works with my keyboard, so I should hope it works with the drums. Unless it's not compatible which... that would just be weird.
