Ugh... first the guitar, now my precious drum pedal.
Going through the warranty site, how do I respond to the questions to indicate my drum pedal has cracked? It seems like the only options available are that you didn't get one in the box, the spring is faulty, or it isn't detected when you plug it in... how do I report this correctly?

It is pretty dumb how it's setup, because it seems that they didn't anticipate the pedals breaking for some reason. I think I just went with the detection one, because since the orange part broke off, it really couldn't detect anything anymore.

What I did is answer the questions literally.
What type of issue are you experiencing?
My drum pedal is not working properly.
Does the pedal spring back when you press down on it?
Yes.
Plug your pedal directly into the drum kit. Does you pedal work now?
No.
Is this what everyone else did?
Mine just cracked today. Here's my repair while I await my replacement. They better not care that I drilled two small holes in my cracked pedal!

I got a replacement pedal. It was just as bad as the first.
I designed a sturdy wooden pedal and so far, people who have been using it like it a lot.
