Mute Math is said to be one of the best performing bands of the decade. I still haven't seen them in concert myself, but I hear that they're incredible. Here's a taste:
<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/b13rc6DY74A&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/b13rc6DY74A&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
Now, who wouldn't want to rock out to that?

Yes, they are amazing. I've seen them too many times for me to count now and the live show is simply incredible. Never seen anything like it before. Their music is genius.

I have seen them Live. The show was AMAZING they really know how to perform. And if you can look up the backwards performance of Typical they did on Jimmy Kimmel.I got say if Rock Band would make a 3 pack I would buy it in a second. Would like to play:
Control
Chaos
Typical
Progress
There are just so many to choose from.

They are an amazing live band. The drumming is intense. I would pick Break The Same.

Mute Math sounds great for Rock Band. haven't seen them live but most of their stuff is great and rock band material. (if we can get more people to post positively on this thread we might get them on. or we can bribe the HMX ppl.)

I wonder if the Drums would be too hard to play on Rock Band with a Mute Math song? But I think I'd still like to try.

Well the whole album would be awesome but hopefully they can start us off with at least a song, that would be most excellent.

Mutemath ftw!
Seriously any of their songs would be a blast to play on Rock Band. I'd love to see the day when Typical or Chaos was added.

Wow, I was just about to make a thread about this. Mute Math is probably one of the most talented acts of our time when it comes to live performances. I've seen them 3 times in the last two years, and they never cease to amaze. Paul is a cool guy too, was able to chat with him after two of the shows.
Any inclusion in rock band would mean an instant buy from me.
my 3-pack:
Control
Stare at the Sun
Typical

I don't think that you can go wrong with "Typical" and "Chaos", personally.
I'm all for it.

yeah I have heard of this band they are from my home town New Orleans if I'm not mistaken
I only have seen them live once and it was a long time ago but they were not bad from what I can remember
but they are not my first choice as far as music style goes
but a good band none the less

Mute Math songs would be amazingly fun to play on drums. Darren King is an awesome drummer.

I know I'm practicing some thread necromocy here. I was going to make a new thread but did a search and figured I'd add to this one.
Mute Math DLC please and thank you. Personal choices would be "Break The Same", "Noticed", or "Chaos".

so good to see mute math in the game. slightly disappointed that typical isn't the album version (that tiny rhythm change is really throwing me off) but i love the song all the same.
now. . . give us more!! i'm listening to "noticed" right now and just wishing i could play this on drums!

Their new EP came out this week. I was kind of hoping that one of the songs would be out for RB as well. I'm not a big fan of "Spotlight" (from "Twilight") but "Clockwork" would be perfect for RB. As has been said before though, I'd be happy with any new MuteMath.

OMG Mute Math is beyond freakin incredible. Typical is currently my number one song in Rock Band 2.
These guys are seriously decades ahead of their time. They've personally made every other song out there sound the same.
And their live shows, I can't even begin to tell you the experience. There is only one band out there I would see before Mute Math and that would be Led Zeppelin, and only because it'll probably be once in a lifetime.
And speaking of live shows, I saw Disturbed the other day, and I really like them, but they looked like they were just kinda "putting on an act" instead of really being one with the fans. I felt the same way watching System of a Down a while back. That's why I've stopped going to a lot of concerts recently.
Mute Math is breaking all kinds of rules now. They're great to watch and chat it up with after the show. I even got to help load their instruments a few years ago. :D
At any rate, HMX, MORE MUTE MATH PLEASE!!!!!!! :)
