The 99 dollar bundle is only avaliable for PS3 who had fewer sells then any other system. and the 360.
First off, Why is WII left out of this deal ?
Second. Why do they come out with this deal, when everyone on here has rock band 1 or 2 or ac dc?
Makes no since to me.

Maybe they're trying to boost sales on the system (PS3) that has the least amount of units sold. Call me crazy, but that makes perfect sense.

Maybe they have a large abundance of RB1 bundles for the PS3/360 in overstock and need to clear space out in the warehouse.
Why do Wii users always feel like they're being persecuted?

because we are, It makes no sense that we have a newer gaming system and they leave the deals out for the wii.

maybe RB is still selling very strongly for the Wii, and not so much for the other systems. Why would they discount a hot-selling item? That wouldn't make any sense. Or you know, it could be a Nintendo thing. Or even an EA thing. It's not necessarily a HMX decision.

As the 'limited supply only, get it while stocks last' implies, they're more than likely just selling their RB1 overstock, and throwing in the other discs to sweeten the deal. It's quite possible that they have no overstock for the Wii... or for Europe, since the offer's only valid for US residents. There's no grand conspiracy against the Wii.
There's also a perfectly valid reason for the Wii being behind on DLC (ie: it wasn't an option until RB2), and at the rate that it's been catching up, I really don't think you have any reason to complain.

GH3 didn't have a DLC option either. It took a while to make an in-game DLC store possible, since Nintendo's online network has rather limited capabilities and isn't the easiest for developers to work with (that and big N puts some limitations on the way in which developers can offer content, which is why you won't see packs of any kind on the Wii). It wasn't done in time for RB1. However, they did everything they could to put it in RB2 and are working at full speed to get the back catalog up to speed with 20+ releases per week. Now you can either appreciate that effort or remain indignant about being a bit behind, your call.
And threads don't get locked because people ask questions... they get locked when those people asking questions become overly pushy, demanding or rude. Just something to keep in mind.

Umm...it's a website to all of us dude
Also, from what I gathered from the announcement it's not even an official HMX type deal. Moreso the retailer offering a deal.
So...wrong website?

First off, Why is WII left out of this deal ?
I'm sure the larger answer involves all sorts of fascinating figures like stock quantity, sell through percentage, production costs and all sorts of other numbers that I won't even try to understand. Sometime different deals are available on different systems. I really want to play Mario Kart on my Xbox360, but it's just not an option. Sorry.
Second. Why do they come out with this deal, when everyone on here has rock band 1 or 2 or ac dc?
i dont have rock band 1 or ac dc...
Uhhh... I think that you have just illustrated that not everyone on these forums already owns RB1, RB2 or the AC/DC Track Pack. Beyond that, this promotion isn't just open to the people that post on these forums. It's open to everyone and the announcement that Sean posted earlier today should start popping up in press releases and retail locations shortly.
Why was there no dlc for rock band 1.
This issue has been addressed plenty of times on the forums before, and if you're looking for more info you can feel free to do a quick search of the forums. Short answer: it wasn't possible, not on the scale that we were releasing DLC, not with the regularity with which we were releasing DLC, and not with the storage options available at the time. The infrastructure simply wasn't there. But we've been plugging away at the DLC on the Wii (we're 91% complete according to Lily_Mu's thread (http://www.rockband.com/forums/showthread.php?t=108554)) and we've release in just about one year, what it took the other systems two years to get. There have been weeks when we've release 40 new tracks on the Wii, and we'll continue to crank out new content every week so the Wii gets caught up as quickly as possible.
I hope that info helps.

Oh, also, sometimes threads get closed when questions are answered and the issue is fully addressed. :)

Since when are all of those things mutually exclusive? ;)
