I think it's good to introduce kids to adult matters through their cartoons and books. You can't keep them sheltered forever.

There would've been a clear winner if only this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sPVdfM5avwQ) had taken place in the 90's....

Rogue was hot. I totally sympathize with Gambit.

None of those compare to that episode of Alvin and the Chipminks I remember from the 80s where they got a kitten that was then hit by a car

agree that that list lacks ren and stimpy, and I remember a more disturbing rocko, it involved spunky and a mop lol. Mtv had some messed up stuff in the 90's while not targeted at children, I fell in love with as a child and still love to this day, B&B, Liquid television, Aeon Flux, Oddities, The Head, The brothers grunt ect.

Too cartoony, though there are a few deleted scenes from a few episodes that are beyond normal ("Cousin Sven" comes to mind...)

I would think that this one scene in Rocko's Modern Life involving Rocko looking for a job and finding one as a phone sex operator would be one. Anyone remember...
Rocko: Oh baby, oh baby, oh baby.
Mrs. Bighead: Rocko?
Rocko: Mrs. Bighead?
(both immediately hang up shocked)

I remember most of these, except the Rocko's Modern Life and Captain Planet ones. Didn't find them disturbing then and don't find them disturbing now.

The Beast Wars one was awesome, I definitely do not find it disturbing at all, his death scene was easily the high point of the entire show.
"Tell my tale to those who ask. Tell it truly, the ill deeds along with the good... and let me be judged accordingly. The rest is silence..."
Just thinking about it makes me want to watch the series through again.

They're "fsjal" avatars started from an internet meme on 4chan. There's tonnes of them on http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/fsjal (bottom of the page) if you want one. We need more people with these avatars! xD
