Several bands, including Harmonix in-house ones, have already committed to providing songs for the Network.[38] One label, Sub Pop, has revealed they will plan to release all songs and albums on their label to the Rock Band Network, including early music by Nirvana, The Postal Service and The Shins, though the amount and rate of content will be affected by the difficulty of the tools Harmonix will provide to make the music tracks.[3] Tony Kiewel of Sub Pop stated that they see the Rock Band Network as another music distribution path alongside vinyl and CD and plan to release future songs from their label on the Network alongside traditional music media.[3]
I found this in Wikipedia, so i wasnt to sure... can someone approve of this?

Yes, they have the rights to some of Nirvana, and have been on board since the announcement of the RBN. Their stuff is posted all over the official discussion thread, I believe. They have a LOT of bands signed with them.

Now the question is... Will we get the awesome original version of About a Girl or the crappy unplugged version in Guitar Hero?
Also, Love Buzz for the win.

Probably the Bleach version. The only reason I can see why GH got the unplugged version is because Sub-pop has the rights to Bleach and were probably tied in with RBN.

This is something to look forward to. But the question is how long it will take for these songs to be made into playable game tracks and ultimately released.
