So... I'm new, but I figured I'd make some suggestions (I don't know if some of these have been said already)
Weezer - Only in Dreams
This song was voted on by a handful of rock gods as one of the top 5 best guitar songs (I think it was guitar...), but it also has some sweet drum parts. The vocals are somewhat short.
The Faint - Take Me to the Hospital
Or any song by The Faint for that matter. They have AMAZING lyrics, and most of their songs are an electronica sound, but I've seen them live at least 5 times and can tell you for sure that their guitar, bass and drum players still go nuts playing their songs.
Finger Eleven - Paralyzer
This song is *****in. 'nough said.
Goldfinger - 99 Red Balloons
Heavy hitting lyrics with some sweet punk guitar. I guess they have bass and drums in there somewhere...
Lostprophets - Rooftops
These guys know how to make some great sounding music. This is one of their better songs, too. I really want to sing this song AND play the drums for it!
Muse - Hysteria
So... The other game has a song by Muse, but this one is WAY WAY better.
Slipknot - Duality
Ah hell, just make a couple Slipknot packages. Their songs are PERFECT for this game!
Red Hot Chili Peppers - By the Way
Great song. That's all.
Green Day - Brain Stew
Great song, but there are plenty of other good Green Day songs (preferably songs before the American Idiot album, though... bands just don't sound as good after they sell their souls)
