My Cat Just Knocked Over My Lamp... What Do I Do?

So, I was playing Metroid Prime, and my cat decides to jump on the table, and fight the lamp. So she grabs it, and it goes falling and they both hit the ground. She's fine, just a little startled, but I'm worried about fire safety, should the lamp be fine? It isnt busted (as far as i can see) and is there something I should do to ensure a fire wont start from it? I'm really scared of indoor fires because i almost caught my house on fire when i was younger, so I'm sorry if I sound paranoid. Theres no family members i can reach right now, so i had to come to you guys.

Did you pick the lamp up? Just don't use it untill someone gets back if you are worried.

Really though as long as the bulb is not touching anything flammable and there are no exposed wires it should be fine, lamps do not usually catch on fire just from being knocked over. I mean, assuming this is an electric lamp, if you are using like an old fashioned oil lamp or something then my advice is to join the new millennium ;).
