Interesting interview with Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth) about Black Metal

I just recently got into Sonic Youth over the past few weeks and have been reading a bit about the black metal scene with the recent rumors of Varg's death so this article coincided perfectly. Really interesting to see some of the connections between such different music styles.

I read this article a while ago. It's a pretty interesting read for Sonic Youth fans and metal fans alike.

Although I do have to mention that the portion of the interview about The Eternal having black metal influence was a complete lie.
