Alright, now, up to this point, I haven't had any REAL dislike for the people at Activision, they've always been good to consumers, and have put out really good games. Now, however, they have done something that REALLY pisses me off, and lots of people are mad at Harmonix for this. Just read the link:

I, fortunately, am a 360 owner, and the GH guitars will work for me, but that doesn't stop me from being extrodinarily angry with Activision. Nice move, nice move.
This is something that is in the hands of HMX, and Activision shouldn't be allowed to do anything about it. If Harmonix wants RO's guitars to work with Rock Band, so be it. All it would do is lead to more sales of Guitar Hero III bundles, and, when it comes out, standalone Guitar Hero LPs. Activision is just hurting their sales. I can see them never making a patch for the Rock Band Strat to work with the Guitar Hero games, but this move is just plain stupid and gives them bad publicity.

Don't they relealize they stand to sell more copies of their game and guitar if they just let them work?
I already have GHIII but i'm sure that there are lots of people out there that have rockband who would buy the GHIII bundle if just for the guitar. Regardless of why they are buying it, its still a copy sold for activision and money in their pocket. Sounds mutually benefitial to me.
