If so, then it would be awesome to have your input on extreme metal songs that "Should" be put out for release in the later downloadable bundles for rock band.

my personal setlist would be

Dimmu Borgir
*Blessings Upon The Throne of Tyranny
*Kings of the Carnival Creation
*Progenies of the Great Apocalypse
*The Maelstrom Mephisto

Behemoth
*Slaves Shall Serve
*Decade Ov Therion
*Prometherion

Vital Remains
*Hammer Down the Nails
*Infidel

Satyricon
*Mother North
*Fuel For Hatred

Immortal
*One by One
*Demonium
*Sons of Northern Darkness
*Blashrk

But of course just about everyone of those bands would be really hard to play on the drums because of obviosly the exclusion of a double bass pedal.

But maybe Harmonix or some other third party Rock Band product company will make one, who knows...

But anyway some input would be really nice.

It is a truly beautiful fantasy, but I don't see that happening ever, there are not to many poeple willing to pay for tracks from those great bands, but I'll add Burzum (is really easy but it's great!!!), Cradle Of Filth, Darkthrone and Marduk to that list.

Well Maybe, if we can get enough people to agree with this thread then maybe just maybe we could make this fantasy become a reailty.

I mean, Rock Band has its own Metal Category in the game, So it would be great to add to that category.

I would love to have Opeth (Bleak, Godhead's Lament, The Moor, Ghost of Perdition, etc., and how much would A Fair Judgement rock on this game?), Carcass' Arbeit Macht Fleisch, anything Dark Tranquillity. Playing Monochromatic Stains would be great.

Nice Setlist, I mainly would love Extreme Metal in rock band mainly, because of the drumming challenge Blast beats FTW. Secondly because Extreme Metal is just Amazing.

I'd love to see this in Rockband but I'm afraid we might break our instruments (not sure those drums are meant for blast beats! :D)

Agree on Opeth, Immortal, Dimmu -- add some Emperor too!

At least add some Slayer or Bathory , plz :)

See, I read it as a personal question, rather than a general one. I will not buy it if it comes out.

However, I have no more problems with these bands being in than any other band. In fact, I kind of welcome these bands, because I have a mild case of indie-itis and the more lesser known bands we get the closer we get to ones I really like.

What's the point of asking the question if you don't want to know the answer? If you don't want people to answer honestly, then the poll is useless.

I personally don't like Extreme Metal. However, I have no problem with it being included as DLC. Everyone has different musical tastes.

Rock On!

I think i'll be easy to make a double pedal for rockband, i don't know how it's called, but, wouldn't it work if you plug two pedas each one into a mini plug in and then solder them to a stereo mini plug out??? I'll be very easy to make.

I just saw one on the web, it's called a "Y" Adapter (Male stereo mini plug to two female stereo mini jacks), and it's around 3$.

Metal should definitely be a huge part in rock band. Here are some bands that should be in it:

August Burns Red
Darkest Hour
Killswitch Engage
Unearth
As Blood Runs Black
