"Party Pack" Idea

I think it would be awesome if Harmonix made a series of "Party Packs" that featured really cheesy, typical karaoke-ish party songs. One of the faults I've found with Rock Band is that, in a party situation, too many people read through the song list and are constantly saying they don't know like 75% of the material. Sure, for someone who's a bit more into rock music will know the bulk of the tracks, but I would absolutely download some "party packs" with the ultra-mainstream appeal that drunk people want.

Anyone else with me on this?

I agree with it, a lot of people who don't listen to rock don't know too many of the songs.

Are you kidding!!! Of course the party pack would be awesome. Come on Harmonix is seriously dropping the ball on an amazing opportunity to not only make lots of money, but to improve the lives of several of the people who play these games. I can already picture drunk women playing rock band and singing Def Leopards "Pour some sugar on me", or Bon Jovi's "Shot through the Heart". It'd be like being in your own music video!!!! Hmx I urge you to listen to the voice of the customer on this one. I don't even like those songs, but the possibilities MAN, the possibilities!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

awesome to hear i'm not alone on this one! let's hope harmonix listens. and, yes, bon jovi, def leppard, AC/DC...the point is to use the uber-hit songs. sometimes it's okay to be cliche and cheesy.
