Hey guys first post here. I've been looking through a whole bunch of forum topics on drum modifications and what not, but I was wondering if someone could help me out with a very specific problem.
My 360 Wireless drums will not sync with the system. I push the button to sync once the system is attempting to sync and it just keeps blinking. Now before people start telling me to push them at the same time, or push one before the other let me guarantee you that I've tried EVERYTHING. Usually I would just RMA the drums, but my pads were gifted to me by someone that doesn't have the original receipt. So I present a couple of questions to you guys.
1. Is it possible that the sync button just isn't making contact in the controller and is there a way I can open and repair it? (I have plenty of experience with micro-soldering and have repaired equipment in the past)
2. Is it possible to turn a wireless drum set into a wired drum set by means of bypassing the wireless and using a usb straight to the system? (If someone could supply a board layout I would appreciate it.)
