Everybody's Got Something to Hide Except Me and My Monkey

I posted this in another long thread, but felt that it deserved its own discussion. I remembered this interview I read a long time ago about Guitar Hero 2 in which a developer (Ted - does he still work for HMX?) claims his main pick by The Beatles for that game was Everybody's Got Something to Hide... but they got turned down by The Beatles, along with Metallica and Led Zeppelin.

This interview makes me think we will see this song on-disc. Also, if you listen, it has killer guitar throughout, and some pretty challenging vocals.

I think it will be on the disc. HMX is just as aware that it would be a great track as we are. Somebody mentions it in a thread here, and you can figure that it was already discussed months ago and longer many times over by HMX.

Even if it doesn't make the disc, it is a sure bet for DLC.

It's interesting. This Ted fellow actually worked for Red Octane, who are still involved in the Guitar Hero series. He may work for HMX now, but I'd dare say he is more likely to be still involved in GH.

Maybe they've stolen Everybody... away from HMX!? :eek:

Seriously, though, I think it has a very good chance of being on-disc. Clearly the remaining 19 songs aren't all going to be from 1 or The Red/Blue Album; there is going to be at least a couple of more 'obscure' tracks.
