View Full Version : Canadian Replacements?

Seems all info on replacements for Canadian instruments has disappeared... which led me to believe that they had resolved their shipping issues into Canada.

My guitar strummer has finally started to go on me, and I plowed my way through the RMA process, gave them the shipping address, then they asked for the credit card, I'm thinking good, they know I'm in Canada, and they ask for my credit card after I told them where I wanted them to ship it to, until the last page where they say they are going to give me the tracking number, and all of a sudden, sorry no shipping outside of the US.

With RB landing here in Canada in 7 days or less, you would hope that their RMA process is up and running.

Any info from other Canadians with broken hardware?

My Kick pedal just snapped on me. Ive been fighting trying to get RMA since release date due to guitar and drum responsiveness issues. EA support keeps telling me I need to wait until RB is released to Canada then they will happily resolve my issues.

I hope they don't mind screw holes in the kick pedal... well, since its already in 2 pieces Im sure they wont even notice... Im not waiting until Dec 28+ to be able to submit the RMA

We will post more information about the Canadian warranty program after launch, although if I can get the information sooner I will post that to help those of you who already have the game. Please keep an eye on my Warranty FAQ sticky at the top of this section as I am updating that will all the latest information I have.

So Violet, are there any procedures in place via EA to have this hold automatically removed when they see I'm trying to have stuff shipped to Canada, or am I going to find in 28 days from now that EA has charged me 125$ for a guitar they didn't even try to ship to me?

The hold should drop off since your RMA would have been invalid. However, I would recommend contacting support just to ensure that it is properly setup to do that.

After the several burns by harmonix, I've become pretty skeptical of any statements made addressing canada.

Notice how it hasn't actually been answered IF we are going to be able to return our guitars bought outside the states. Knowing the details of how it's going to work doesn't matter if we're not being told that we will eventually be able to replace them.

Put simply, will canadians be able to return defective controllers bought from the US?
