# of viewers

I know it doesn't mean much but .......

I've noticed that when you first get to the forums main catagory that it shows how many viewers ( in parenthises ) are in each catagory, but after looking at a post then returning to the main catagory page the amount of viewers are not there anymore.

Like I said ...... no big deal ...... I was just wondering why the numbers disappear ?

Clicking on the category link is not the same as viewing the main forum list.
A category is treated in the software as a forum just showing the subforums that belong to it.

Main forum page listing (http://community.rockband.com/vbforum/index.php) - Shows viewers
General Category (http://community.rockband.com/vbforum/forumdisplay.php?f=1) - does not show viewers.

As to why this happens, it's the way the software was designed.

Cool ...... I see the difference now. Just thought the "main catagory" link at the top of the pages brought you back to the opening page.
