Ya I felt like doing this so I am. Every two days I'll make one of these with the band your going to rate in the title. I will decide how good the band is by discovering the average of all the votes and rounding to the bands benefit. I will put a couple of the songs from the band below this sentence.

They are one of my top 5 favorite bands of all time, and "Siren Song of The Counter Culture" is my favorite album of all time.

I dig the sound, dislike the message.

I found it really funny that the lead singer said that because they were a Top 100, mainstream band, teenagers obviously were becoming political, and fighting for their ideals.

Umm. No. It was because it became cool to hate Bush.

I don't hate them but I would never listen to them without reason.

The exception being Swing Life Away, I really like that song.

Rise Against is one of the better examples of recent punk, which has been a dismal scene for a long time. They do well at staying true to the genre without mutating into something like, oh, Green Day, the latter of which is now more pop than anything punk. I gave 'em an 8.

I gave them a ten but I meant to give them a nine It would have been a ten but they had to release the crap (for the most part) that was appeal to reasons. It had a coupler of good songs on it but the rest were just filler I can only stand maybe 5 songs on the cd but I really like all there other songs.

They were still repetitive as all hell, it was just a slightly different sound. Sirens of the Counter Culture wasn;t nearly as good as it was made out to be, and I couldn't tell whihc song was which because they all sounded the same. There were only 3 good songs on it, Rumors of my Demise..., Papre Wings, and State of the Union. And their last two albums were also crappy aside from a couple of songs.

I gave them a 6, but now I think it should've been a 5.
