Radio stations seem to be going crazy with Beatles tracks lately. I don't think I've ever heard them play this many. Last night that had to of played 5, same with the other night. And I'm listening to "I Am the Walrus" on the radio right now. Are they getting jacked up for the re-issues and TB:RB or something?

I'm not complaining. No way. Just making an observation.;)

This game is going to do wonders for both brands.

Each ten years something happens in Beatles history, it seems. In the 90s it was their "reunion" (although they dind't considered it like that), in the 80s some remasters (which some people call them terrible), and well in the 70s, it didn't seem to have something very big.

And this decade, is the videogame and the remasters. Hope it keeps like this for 50 years!

The game is going to be great for business because if they make a game people that never heard of their music could get into it and become fans and buy merchandise of them.

Couple Weeks ago my local classic radio station ranked Abby Road as number 11 on their 50 greatest Classic Rock Albums of All Time. number 1 happened to be recorded in Abby Road Studios also, it was Dark Side of the Moon.

Last night Talksport (UK radio station) did half an hour of cover versions of songs from Abbey Road, including a CRAZY version of Come Together by The Israelites that I'd never heard before :)

Fixed:D

I noticed that too: the Beatles, here in Italy, appear to be trendy again. I see many people wearing their t-shirts and I often stop them in the road to tell them how much I like how they dress:D

I was very surprised when tonight our main news program, the "TG1", had an article about the anniversary of Abbey Road. They spoke about the album, quoting some songs like Come Together, Something and Golden Slumbers, playing the first two and Carry That Weight.
Awesome!

Not true. 1973 saw the "Red" and the "Blue" Greatest Hits come out and re-spark The Beatles to yet another generation!

Yeah, I agree. On my local station they did a big classic rock thing to celebrate 40 years since Woodstock and the summer of love. They played a bunch of The Beatles and I think they still are sorta. I just heard Please Please Me a little while ago.

they're doing this because not only is Rock Band: The Beatles coming out BUT they are also re-releasing all of the Beatles albums and finally putting them on iTunes, as well as I few other things I think. So basically a lot of side by side Beatles marketing.

Ahh... I didn't knew that! Thanks! So what will be next decade's Beatles event?

Thank you for the fix, very much. Although I'll be sad since I will not experience it.:(

Heard "Revolution" tonight, was nice to hear on regular radio!
