Hi, I'm Mexican too :)
About your question, most of the game retailers in the country don't even know about RB, but my guess is that it will ship in the next 3-4 months. But i wouldn't recommend buying it here as it will probably cost around 300-350 US Dollars :( (GH3 with the Les Paul is 160 USD).

I bet you don't even know what's really celebrated on "Cinco de Mayo", but if you do? You deserve a cookie.

Cinco de Mayo is pretty big down here in Tejas... but yeah, mostly just as an excuse to get plastered.

The mexican release date is when the Xbox 360 and the PS3 are outdated and you guys can finally afford to buy technology from 20 years ago.

Dude, i don't really mean to start a discussion, but you obviously don't know sh*t, being a gamer here in Mexico is much more expensive than in the US/Canada, we have to pay almost the double for consoles (the Wii is 450 USD, the X360 is 530 USD, and the PS3 is 750 USD for the 40gig version) and many people can still buy/afford them. So, do a little research before you post.

I would say once Rock Band gets released in Canada and Europe, HMX will be thinking about Mexico. I heard on a podcast that HMX has some plans in releasing local regional DLC songs. So Mexico might get some Latin Alternative Rock as DLC. Just hang in there and it will come!

You'd be wrong.
Any other silly questions?

Don't post anything that is racist/sexist/creedist...basically stuff that is just meant to offend people. I think we've all been on boards like that and it generally sucks. This could get you banned for a few days or banned permanently based on the seriousness of the offense

Wasn't North America release date almost a month ago... Or does North America suddenly mean only the US?
Just do what the Canadians do... Cross the border and get one here.
They shouldn't have to. Really this is shaping up to be one crappy launch. Next time HMX should find a competent distributor.

yeah i would also recommend crossing the border and buying one in the us it will save a lot of money and time although rock band bundles are in short supply in El Paso, TX. i work at a circuit city and everyone's looking for the bundles (no luck)
Also about the regional DLC that would be awsome, you think that since i live in the us/mx border i could get a chance at both of them? interesting....

OMFG Please HMX DON'T do that, i wan't the same content that the resto of the world, i mean, come on, latam rock sucks,(exept maybe 2 or 3 bands) i bought rockband over mercadolibre(mexican ebay) and cost me arround 250 usd, (yes stupid f$·&· that said that in mexico we don't have money), btw my guitar broke and i had to fix it myself because of the warranty problems here, i really hate that we are in a globalized world and we're still left behind, harmonix use your brain, here in mexico the videogame industry is big, proof of that is the Electronic Game show, where if my memory serves me well your game was the main attraction.
Come on give us some credit, you're taking to long.
