Song Failing?

Ok yeah me again with yet another question. Since I am a PS2 user I am trying to get info off of you who already have it to help me so thank you. Now here comes the question

Ok, say you were playing Guitar Hero on Co-Op mode while you are on Expert and nailing it, while you have a medium player who messes up the whole thing, your rock meter goes down and you fail. And by you fail, you who own it know YOU FAIL TOO! Ok, now Rock Band I heard that one person can fail and the others can continue. Is this true. And if you fail, can you keep failing and be ok, or can you fail like only a few times then the whole band is out or just you. Help would be appreciated

Players can fail out with others remaining playing, at least until the meter runs out. You can use overdrive (star power) to rescue failed players, who can then resume playing. Three failures for any player means being out permanently and that means that unless the band is close to the end of the song that the enter band is in danger of failing.

In RB you buddies can fail and you keep playing ...... you get a little time to activate "overdrive" to pull your buddie back into the song.

BUT ...... 3 strikes and your out ...... :p

I have been pulled back in at the "big ending" also.
